ROCKPALAST DORTMUND FESTIVAL ’83:

To the delight of Steve Clark fans restored and remastered footage of the Rockpalast Concert from Dortmund, Germany which was filmed on 18th December 1983, has emerged on YouTube, featuring a superb high-energy performance from Steve Clark and the band during the Pyromania tour days.

Part 1 features the first 3 songs of the Def Leppard setlist from that show which are Rock! Rock! ‘Till You Drop, Billy’s Got a Gun and Foolin’.

Part 2 features Rock Of Ages, Let It Go and Wasted.

Despite this only being seemingly available on YouTube (currently at the time of writing), this footage represents only the second ever piece of official live video footage of the band featuring Steve Clark. (The first was the 1989 official video of In The Round In Your Face from the Hysteria World Tour – a proper physical release). This is long overdue and Clark fans are hungry for more footage of our man from the 80’s live concerts.

This is simply some of the best high quality live footage that exists of Def Leppard featuring The Master Steve Clark. More is required!

The band would do well to pay attention to the fans’ request for an official physical release of this and more from the Clark era. We’ve been waiting for such delights for far too long.
